Westley’s Graduation at QUT Gardens Point & Brisbane Botanic Gardens

Sometimes, a photoshoot that starts as a gift for someone else becomes a gift for yourself.

Westley booked his QUT graduation photoshoot at Gardens Point and the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at his mum’s request—but what started as a thoughtful gesture turned into a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Although he originally felt a little awkward in front of the camera, Westley quickly found his confidence, and we spent the afternoon capturing candid, relaxed moments against some of Brisbane’s most iconic backdrops. The result? Meaningful photos that celebrate his achievements and bring joy to his family.

“Had an amazing experience working with Oscar for my graduation photos! I am typically not comfortable taking photos but wanted to get some taken for my mum to have, and Oscar made the entire process enjoyable and helped ease some of my discomfort and awkwardness taking public photos. Oscar has a great personality and is comfortable to talk to, and on top of that the pictures turned out great! Plus my mum loved some of the props! All in all a 10/10 experience and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for professional photos done.”
