Julie & Dean – A Joyful, Musical Wedding at Broadway Chapel & Factory 51

Julie & Dean’s wedding was a joyful fusion of their love story, musical passions, and vibrant community of family and friends. From their Broadway Chapel ceremony in Woolloongabba to the upbeat Factory 51 reception in Coorparoo, every part of the day reflected who they are—fun-loving, music-filled, and madly in love.

Their story began in Christchurch, New Zealand, where they met at a brass band competition in 2004. Dean, visiting from the UK, was captivated by Julie’s incredible hair and spark, and what began as “tuba buddies” soon grew into something far deeper. Years later, Dean proposed at Julie’s 60th birthday party, surrounded by their loved ones, kicking off a year-long celebration known as the “Deano & Jules Engagement Tour.”
