We had the honour of photographing Lena’s PhD graduation at The University of Queensland, St Lucia, celebrating the remarkable culmination of her doctoral journey surrounded by her proud family. Behind the Shoot
Lena’s session took place in the mid-day, just after her graduation ceremony, when the campus was alive with celebration. The light filtered softly through the sandstone arches, illuminating heartfelt smiles, embraces, and shared pride. We began with professional portraits in her academic regalia, followed by candid moments with her parents and siblings — laughter, hugs, and tears of joy marking the completion of an incredible academic chapter. From the solo portraits symbolising personal achievement to the joyful family group shots, every image tells the story of a milestone earned through perseverance and love.
